A high-quality Oracy education should be a part of every child’s entitlement. Yet, evidence suggests that it too often falls short, and that those from low-income backgrounds suffer the most.
According to the All-Party Parliamentary Group’s (APPG)​‘Speak for Change’ Inquiry report,

Join us in this one-day course where we look at how to explicitly teach Oracy at the secondary phase.
This programme offers practical audits, tools, case studies and strategies to support a whole school approach to Oracy.


At the end of the session you will have the confidence, tools and knowledge to ensure high quality talk is well-structured and guided by teachers in your setting, and be able to support your staff teams to promote the use of academic talk through a disciplinary literacy lens.
