Developing a sound understanding of mathematics when we are young is essential
Join us for a FREE twilight webinar to support you in developing maths teaching.
This guidance is aimed primarily at subject leaders, headteachers, and other staff with responsibility for leading improvements in mathematics teaching in primary and secondary schools. Classroom teachers and teaching assistants will also find this session useful as a resource to aid their day-to-day teaching.
We will be exploring the recommendations in the EEF’s two Guidance Reports.
The EEF’s Guidance Reports offer practical, evidence-based recommendations that are relevant to all pupils, and particularly to those struggling with their maths. To develop the recommendations, the EEF reviewed the best available international research and consulted experts to arrive at key principles for effective maths teaching.
