Dates
This is a three-part face-to-face programme running on 20 October, 10 November and 1 December 2026. Please ensure you can attend all three sessions before booking.
Overview
It is a three-part training programme for Headteachers, EYFS Leads, Nursery/PreSchool Managers, Room Leaders, and EYFS Teachers.
The programme aims to enable those leading in the early years to become closer to the growing body of educational research evidence and use it to make decisions about the ‘best bets’ for their school or setting.
Who is it for
This training is for early years practitioners and leaders working in settings or childminders in our Stronger Practice Hub area (Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, Somerset, North Somerset, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire). We will also prioritise settings and childminders in areas of deprivation.
Venue
Community Room at St Pauls Nursery School & Children’s Centre, Little Bishop Street, St Pauls, Bristol, BS2 9JF
Facilitators
Tom Colquhoun, Director of Somerset Research School and Lucy Driver, Headteacher at St Pauls Nursery.
