Infamously referred to as ‘the lost years’, KS3 curricula have long been criticised for their lack of real impact. This session, appropriate for both primary and secondary teachers, aims to explore the links between the KS2 and KS3 curricula. In turn, this will enable teachers to be more knowledgeable of their students’ starting points and the direction of their learning post-SATs, aiding in a seamless transition for students when making this leap.
Objectives:
1. To understand the requirements of students at KS2
2. To link this to the knowledge students gain at KS3
3. To explore how these can be linked successfully and efficiently
This event is hosted online and is free.
