The Research Schools Network aim is to be intentional in promoting, developing and sustaining evidence advocates who represent a diverse range of backgrounds and perspectives. Through this, we want to make sure that our mission – to improve educational attainment for children and young people from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds across the diverse communities we serve – is reflected in everything we do.
You can read more about our progress as a network here.
Norfolk Research School has always worked hard to centre previously unheard voices in its work, from commissioning blog posts to appointing evidence advocates. Our Operations Manager was part of the RSN Developing Diverse Voices planning group, and has been appointed as the RSN EDI regional link. That said, we know that this work is never completed and we welcome your support and challenge. If you would like to discuss this with us, please do get in touch. Similarly, if you’ve looked through our blogs and feel that you have a perspective or expertise that is not represented there, we’d love to talk to you.
