This programme is designed for school leaders and teachers who want to learn more about supporting students with reading across the curriculum.
It will begin by looking at the science of reading, and why good reading instruction is so essential, particularly for disadvantaged learners.
It will then explore some of the barriers students face when reading in lessons, and how teachers can help them overcome these through a range of different evidence-informed approaches.
Participants attending the full course will receive an accompanying resource that explains and exemplifies 27 high impact strategies for supporting students before, during and after reading.
