After a highly successful conference in 2024, join us again at Stonehouse Court Hotel on Monday 20th October. Ideal for primary and secondary leaders, teachers and PP leads, the conference will feature new content designed to help you tackle disadvantage and how to best support your disadvantaged pupils.
Hear from renowned speakers; Marc Rowland - leading PP expert, Steve Lomax - GLOW Maths Hub lead and Laura Spence – Gloucestershire Research School Director and RSN Evidence Literacy content team member. Plus others!
The day will be a balance of presentations, workshops and 1−2−1 guidance focusing on:
- The new EEF Deployment of Teaching Assistants guidance report
- Reviewing and revising your PP strategy to maximise impact
- How to maintain parental relationships
- How research can support you to meet the needs of SEN in your mainstream school
- Working with hard-to-reach families to encourage attendance
Our four workshops are based on the topics below and when you register you will be asked to rank your preference. Allocation will be on a first-come-first served basis and based on your ranking.
- Professional Development - Putting mechanisms in to action to ensure professional development effectively builds knowledge, motivates, develops techniques and embeds practice
- Deployment of TAs – Walk through of the updated TA guidance and recommendations, including signposting to tools and resources to use in school
- Attendance – Exploring how we can improve attendance
- SEND – Creating a positive and supportive environment for all pupils, without exception
At just £75 per person, bring a few team members for a day of truly worth-while training (and a hot lunch!)
