Oral language interventions (also known as oracy or speaking and listening interventions) refer to approaches that emphasise the importance of spoken language and verbal interaction in the classroom.

On average, oral language approaches have a high impact on pupil outcomes of 6 months’ additional progress.

However, this is an area where the evidence is particularly complicated, and school leaders need to navigate this evidence base to implement effective approaches.

Join us for this webinar, where Rosie Booth from Ilkley Grammar School shares how she has used evidence to design and implement a whole-school oral language approach.
