In this workshop we will examine the issues associated with educational disadvantage and help school leaders to identify the specific challenges faced by their pupils. We will then explore the research evidence around key local challenges to support the content of an effective Pupil Premium strategy.
The content will be reflective of new DfE guidance and recently updated EEF guidance. Time will be built into the day to provide networking, peer and individualised support and feedback so that leaders walk away having made significant progress with completion of their strategy.
Based around the 5 point plan to sustaining an effective Pupil Premium strategy as set out in the EEF GUIDE TO PUPIL PREMIUM, we will explore how to:
