To support efforts to build system wide expertise, Unity Research School and Essex Research School are running an online twilight programme.
The sessions will include guidance on building an effective published strategy, and how to ensure that strategy is enacted across all of school life. There will be a strong focus on understanding the impact of low family income on learning. There will also be sections on pitfalls to avoid, opportunities to hear about how schools have effectively implemented plans, and how research evidence can help.
This programme will run online on 16/10 at 4:00 – 5:00pm, include a gap task, and a further online session on 19/11 at 4:00 – 5:00pm.
An additional offer of a twilight session ‘Pupil Premium and parental involvement’ will be run on 13/02/244:00pm‑4:30pm
The programme will be run by run by Sarah Louise Johnston, Cathy Potter and Marc Rowland.
