These sessions are for senior leaders and middle leaders committed to embedding the EEF’s latest guidance into a powerful and sustainable Pupil Premium strategy.

To align with your annual review of your pupil premium strategy we will be running two twilight sessions on the leadership of Pupil Premium & Disadvantage.

Session 1: Adaptive Teaching in Practice
The most important lever schools have to improve outcomes for disadvantaged pupils is high-quality teaching. This session moves this principle into practice.

Session 2: From accurate diagnosis to effective evidence-based interventions
We will explore robust methods for moving beyond labels to diagnose the specific barriers preventing progress — from academic gaps to attendance or wellbeing needs.
Thursday 4 December, 3.30pm, online

There will also be time to discuss and collaborate with leaders in other settings to consider practical solutions to the challenges you might be facing in your setting.
