: John Holmes

John leads school improvement at Tudor Grange Academies Trust and, as the founding Director of Tudor Grange Research School, is enjoying the opportunity to design and deliver evidence-based research on behalf of the Education Endowment Foundation on topics as varied as cognitive science, responsive teaching, and professional development at scale. John makes sure that all of these resources are available to all the schools in the Trust so that the work of leaders is streamlined. In addition, John supports individual schools by coaching teachers and leaders at all levels, with a particular focus on strategic planning and monitoring of impact.
