Pie Corbett has been as busy as ever since schools closed, providing support with home learning teachers and parents. In an interview for St Matthew’s, Kathryn Morgan, from Ambition Institute, asked what advice he could share with us.

What are your top 3 home-learning tips and why?

Children will be missing school, their friends and teachers. The inexplicable has occurred and they are caught in the midst of a plague, trapped inside with all the obvious pressures. So what should we be providing? Children can always catch up with academic learning but the inevitable trauma from the lockdown may haunt some for years; well-being, creativity and story should be foremost.
