Today the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) has published its updated Guide to the Pupil Premium and accompanying resources.
Pupil Premium funding is a powerful tool to begin to tackle this socio-economic disadvantage gap. The EEF has produced these resources to help boost the impact of Pupil Premium spending, providing step-by-step, time-saving advice on how to develop and plan, deliver, monitor and sustain an effective Pupil Premium Strategy.
The resources – which are free to download from the EEF’s website include tools to support an effective whole-school strategy.
At the same time, they’ve launched Promising Programmes, a new resource which identifies programmes that have previously been shown to have a positive impact on attainment. It’s designed to help school leaders identify possible solutions to priority areas in their school.
Please do consider sharing this information with your colleagues to help ensure these resources reach those able to make a real difference to pupils’ learning.
