Amy Husband is the Executive Headteacher for Academy21 with extensive senior leadership experience across diverse settings.
She has led Inclusion and Safeguarding across a Multi-Academy Trust since 2019. Her specialisms include SEND, mental health, neuroscience and Initial Teacher Training.
She is passionate about helping teachers develop practical, evidence-informed approaches to improve outcomes for pupils with SEND and SEMH.
This session will explore practical strategies from the EEF’s Inclusive Teaching guidance and Improving Behaviour in Schools resources. We’ll share top tips, consider what an effective universal offer looks like and explore how schools can measure whether their approaches are making a difference.
We’ll also consider the implications of the SEND reforms and how schools can develop inclusive practice that supports a diverse range of needs while maintaining high expectations and access to the full curriculum.
Who is this course for?
This session is ideal for teachers, SENCOs, Inclusion Leads, Heads of Year and Pastoral Leads working across KS2 – KS5, who want to strengthen inclusive practice, behaviour approaches and their universal offer.
