Disadvantaged pupils are 20% less likely than their peers to reach the expected standards in reading, writing and maths by the end of school.
Join us for a FREE twilight webinar to support you in developing literacy teaching.
This guidance is aimed primarily at subject leaders, headteachers, and other staff with responsibility for leading improvements in literacy teaching in primary and secondary schools. Classroom teachers and teaching assistants will also find this session useful as a resource to aid their day-to-day teaching.
We will be exploring the recommendations in the EEF’s four Improving Literacy Guidance Reports.
The EEF’s Guidance Reports offer practical, evidence-based recommendations that are relevant to all pupils, and particularly to those struggling with their literacy. To develop the recommendations, the EEF reviewed the best available international research and consulted experts to arrive at key principles for effective literacy teaching.
