Another week of making great connections with colleagues and partner schools.

Victoria Richley (Deputy Director of Research School) attended the Research Schools network meeting to take an in depth look into the research and evidence about learners with English as an Additional Language (EAL).

Louise Quinn, our Director of Research School, and Tom Martell, from the EEF, presented at Durham LA’s Authentic Writers’ conference. A summary of their presentation can be found here .

Louise also continued her work with the Department of Education’s One Vision project, presenting evidence-based approaches to implementation and vocabulary.

This week we have finalised our training provision for the year, consisting of full day training and twilight sessions. If you are interested, full details can be found here.

Coming up on Tuesday 3rd December is the official launch of our Associate Research School at Town End Academy. We are really excited about this new partnership and invite you to attend the launch. Further details can be found here.

Finally, we are working in association with Carmel Research School and Newcastle Research School to produce a North East region newsletter. This will combine the work of the three schools into one place, giving greater breadth and depth of content in the newsletter. You can sign up here.
