Metacognition and self-regulated learning is one of the most accessed strands of the EEF’s Teaching and Learning Toolkit with the potential to improve student progress by an additional seven months. However, many are not yet clear on how the principles of metacognition can be successfully applied in the classroom in order to improve outcomes for students.
This face to face programme will:
- Explore the research evidence on metacognition
- Consider the recommendations from the EEF Metacognition and Self Regulation Guidance Report
- Provide delegates with practical strategies to use confidently with students
