Early Years Educator
Katie Moores is an experienced and passionate Early Years educator with 16 years’ experience in EYFS. She is currently EYFS Lead, Early Writing Lead and Reception teacher at Hodge Clough Primary School, and has eight years’ experience in EYFS leadership.
Katie is an accredited EYFS Specialist Leader of Education (SLE), supporting schools to strengthen provision, develop evidence-informed practice and improve outcomes for young children. Through her SLE role, she has supported schools through Ofsted inspections, providing professional guidance and helping leaders to articulate the impact of their practice.
For the past three years, Katie has worked as an Evidence Lead in Education (ELE) with the Pinnacle Research School, delivering literacy and implementation workshops for school leaders and practitioners across Rochdale, Tameside and Oldham. She is also a contributor to the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF), having written blogs sharing evidence-informed approaches and best practice in the Early Years.
Katie is passionate about bridging the gap between research and classroom practice. She is committed to making evidence-informed approaches practical, accessible and impactful, with a strong focus on developing professional expertise and ensuring the best possible outcomes for young children.
