Research School Network: Susi Waters

Susi is Norfolk Research School’s Operations Manager, and is also Operations Manager and ITT Strategic Lead of the Julian Teaching School Hub.

Susi is an experienced operations, event and communications manager with a history of working in the education, higher education, start-up, and charity sectors. She has worked for Norfolk Research School since its initial designation in 2017. Susi also supports Notre Dame High School, our host school, as staff wellbeing coordinator and has undertaken extensive training including Mental Health First Aid.

As part of her various roles, Susi has developed and delivered training on Trans Awareness in the Workplace, Wellbeing and Managing Exam Stress, Creating Inclusive Classrooms, and DEI in the Teaching Workforce; she has also written several blog posts on these themes. She is also the DEI link between the Research Schools Network and the Education Endowment Foundation for the East of England and East Midlands Region, and was previously part of the Research Schools Network’s Developing Diverse Voices focus group.
