Dr Niki Kaiser is a Chemistry teacher and Assistant Headteacher at Notre Dame High School, Norwich, where she is also Director of Norfolk Research School. Niki was previously seconded directly to the Education Endowment Foundation as their Science Content Specialist. A teacher for over 16 years, Niki was awarded the Schools Education Award from the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) in 2019, and she is currently President-elect of the RSC’s Education Community Council.
Before training as a teacher, Niki worked as a post-doctoral researcher in Marine Biogeochemistry, crossing the Equator multiple times as she investigated ocean-atmospheric interactions. It was while doing outreach activities in local schools that Niki discovered how much she enjoyed helping others to understand Chemistry, and she’s determined to help others experience the joy of this fascinating subject.
