Research School Network: Early Career Teachers programme A tried and tested two-year support package for newly qualified teachers (NQTs)

Meols Cop Research School has partnered with Ambition Institute to collaboratively deliver an Early Career Programme based on the Early Career Framework to NQTs from September 2020. This follows a successful pilot of this programme in many North West regions and acts as a pre-cursor to the 2021 statutory change to the NQT induction period from 1 year to 2.

The programme is fully funded and is delivered by highly trained facilitators from both the Research School Network and Ambition Institute. The course materials are evidence based and of the highest quality. The programme will provide effective support, development and guidance for NQTs as well as for their in school mentors.

There is a flyer below outlining in further detail the fundamentals of the programme as well as a series of slides which show the core elements of the programme as well as the delivery method. The programme will run for one academic year with the option that a second year as an RQT can be added.

This is a fantastic opportunity to ensure high quality training and development for your NQTs as part of a fully funded programme.
