London South Research School at Charles Dickens Research School works collaboratively with schools in South London and the South East to bring education research to life, by joining up theory and practice.

We have a track record of evidence informed practice and of working with schools to use research to secure the best outcomes for children, both academically and through their creative, social and emotional development. 

We are currently leading a pilot evaluation of Fluency Focus, our programme to support pupils’ reading outcomes through explicit teaching of fluency strategies. Find out more here.
