The EEF’s updated Key Stage 2 Guidance Report is due for release before Christmas. It incorporates more evidence and, crucially, includes more exemplification and tools for teachers to help bridge the gap between the theory and the realities of classroom practice.

This free twilight in the new year will provide an ideal opportunity for attendees to receive an overview of the report, focusing on the new areas of interest. Furthermore, it may be just the moment to use the updated report as a chance to look again at the literacy challenges for pupils in your schools and settings and consider realistic and manageable next steps to support progress.

The session will be suitable for all Key Stage 2 classroom staff and will also be of interest to literacy leads, or senior leaders with responsibility for neighbouring key stages.
