HISP Research School are delighted to offer this one day training programme,
looking more closely at metacognition and the key recommendations
for the Education Endowment Foundation’s Metacognition
Guidance Report.
Through this training day, we will look in depth at each of the recommendations
from the guidance report and seek to translate
this into classroom practice, so that teachers have a stronger understanding
of how to support their students to develop their
metacognitive thinking.
This training day is suitable for teachers looking to adapt their classroom
practice and school leaders looking to implement metacognition
at a whole school level. This training day is also suitable for practitioners
across phase, as opportunity will be given during the day to contextualise
the strategies for your own context.
