Amanda Grant - Director. With more than 20 years of experience in education, Amanda Grant is a passionate advocate for equal opportunity in learning. She has teaching experience across KS1 and KS2 and is committed to ensuring children in her school, and within the MAT that she works in, receive high quality teaching; with a particular focus on reading and writing. Amanda believes deeply in the transformative power of quality education to unlock potential and remains committed to ensuring that every child, particularly those from low-income families, is equipped with the tools necessary to achieve their fullest ambitions.

Charlotte Chessell - Deputy Director Deputy Director, Charlotte Chessell brings over ten years of dedication to the classroom, having taught students from KS1 all the way up to KS2. Today, she uses her specialist knowledge as the Maths Lead at Front Lawn Primary, helping children truly master numeracy. However, Charlotte's commitment to education is deeply personal. Having navigated the school system herself as a disadvantaged child from a challenging home life, she possesses a unique and empathetic understanding of the barriers many students face. This history fuels her core mission: to dismantle those barriers. She is a passionate advocate driven by the conviction that every child, irrespective of socioeconomic background or domestic challenges, must be given the opportunity and structured support necessary to not just cope, but to thrive and achieve their full potential.

Charlotte Caldwell - Evidence Lead in Education Charlotte has been teaching for seven years across Key Stage 1 and Lower Key Stage 2. She has a particular passion for Phonics and Reading, believing these skills are the foundation for a lifelong love of learning. During her teacher training in a disadvantaged area, Charlotte was struck by the contrast between that school and the one she attended as a child. This experience inspired her commitment to promoting equality in education. Since then, she has dedicated her career to working in disadvantaged schools, striving to close the attainment gap and ensure that every child has access to an engaging, high-quality education that provides them with the opportunities they deserve.

Francesca Rodriguez - Evidence Lead in Education Fran Rodriguez has twelve years of teaching experience dedicated entirely to Key Stage 2 (KS2). She holds an NPQ in Leadership of Teachers, underpinning her strategic approach to school leadership and academic guidance. Fran's deepest passion is teaching and learning in Year 6. This final year of primary school is where she excels, leveraging her expertise to consolidate foundational learning and prepare students for their next academic adventure. Her professional focus is driven by the conviction that primary successes are fundamental to a child’s future. Fran works tirelessly to ensure that every student leaves primary school equipped with the academic mastery and emotional resilience required to thrive. Her mission is to use this pivotal year to instill confidence, foster independence, and secure a strong academic trajectory for all.

Zoe Lyndon - Evidence Lead in Education Zoe Lyndon-Watt brings a wealth of dedication and specialist knowledge, built across nearly two decades in primary education. For over 18 years, she primarily taught in Key Stage 1, laying the crucial foundations for countless young learners, and has more recently applied her expertise to Key Stage 2, particularly in Year 6. Her deep-seated passion for early reading stems from a unique professional and personal history. Zoe trained and taught for five years as a Reading Recovery Teacher, providing intensive, one-to-one literacy support. This experience is magnified by her own childhood memory of struggling significantly with early reading, which gives her profound insight into the challenges and emotional impact faced by young readers. Today, Zoe is committed to ensuring success across the curriculum as the Reading and Phonics Lead at Front Lawn Primary Academy and across the school’s trust. She also supports the next generation of educators as an ECT Mentor

Beth Dewey - Evidence Advocate Beth Dewey is a dedicated Research School Advocate driven by an enduring passion for education, with over five years experience as both a KS1 and KS2 teacher. Her work is guided by the core belief that all children should have the opportunity and support to achieve their full potential. Beth is deeply committed to bridging the gap between academic research and classroom practice.
