The Principles of Powerful Learning are 10 principles drawn from Cognitive Science that help teachers understand how students think, learn and remember.
Understanding these principles can help teachers optimise the way they explain concepts, design tasks, and sequence learning.
The course will break down each of the principles, and provide practical examples and non-examples from the classroom to illustrate each one.
Participants will also receive a PDF resource with further explanation, exemplification and reading for each principle.
Attendees: Newly qualified and recently qualified teachers, trainee teachers and mentors.
