Back by popular demand, our metacognition training is ideal for primary and secondary leaders and teachers with responsibility for professional development.
Join Jess Hutchison and Chris Nicolas as they explore the updated Metacognition and Self Regulation guidance report.
Aims of the session
When asking delegates about what they found useful at our metacognition training, they gave the following feedback:
An opportunity to have the time and headspace to laser in on one aspect of school practice and consider how to implement / what to implement.
Explaining clearly what metacognition is and how we can develop in the classroom. Opportunity to discuss with colleagues across phases.
The depth at which the guidance was discussed. The push towards it feeling relatable to all.
Time to evaluate different strategies and improve my teaching and the teaching of others at my school. More importantly how to improve the learning of all pupils especially disadvantaged.
