: Jo Twiby – Executive Director of The Exchange Partnership

I am the Executive Director of The Exchange Partnership which describes the portfolio of professional development and partnership work facilitated by Delta Academies Trust, including Exchange Research School. My career in education spans over twenty years, starting as an English teacher, moving into senior leadership and more recently, as a trust-wide system leader in two large (and successful) multi-academy trusts. 

My current role is exciting as it involves working with a diverse and broad partnership across Yorkshire and the Humber – and beyond. I work with like-minded, positive people who genuinely care about developing others, improving teaching and changing young people’s lives in the disadvantaged communities we serve. 

With strategic oversight of the Research School, I am looking forward to mobilising the evidence to strengthen all aspects of our collective work, and continuing to grow a community of practice who are empowered to make evidence-based decisions about teaching and leadership.
