: Caitlin Mackinder – Deputy Head of Exchange Teaching Hub

I have had a varied career in education, working as an English teacher in a range of contexts and in teacher development in both the UK and the USA. I played a key role in developing the Research Schools Network while at the Institute for Effective Education and, during my time at the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF), worked across the education system to support teachers and school leaders in using evidence to improve outcomes for all pupils, particularly those facing disadvantage. I am passionate about ensuring every child, regardless of their background, has access to excellent teaching and the opportunity to thrive.
