How do we effectively support students of all abilities and backgrounds in accessing writing and expressing their ideas with clarity?

Join leaders from Exchange Research School and Delta Academies Trust as we explore the Education Endowment Foundation’s (EEF) research around improving literacy in secondary schools, particularly around how practitioners can reduce cognitive load though adaptive teaching and modelling. Partake in this first-of-its-kind webinar as we explore evidence of this implemented effectively in the classroom, and what this might look like in your own specific context.

Date and time: Tuesday 24th February 2026, 15:30 – 16:30

Facilitators: Alex Leonard, English Teacher & Evidence Lead in Education (ELE), and Ricky Iftikhar, Director of English for Delta Academies Trust.

Audience: The session is aimed at secondary English teachers and teachers with an interest in modelling writing.

This is an online event. A link to access the session will be sent out the week before the event to the email address provided on the booking form.
