ELE, Deputy Headteacher at Pear Tree Mead Acedemy
Lacey Davies is Deputy Headteacher at Pear Tree Mead Academy in Harlow, Essex, a large primary school within the PCLC Trust. She has extensive leadership experience, with responsibilities including disadvantaged, assessment, behaviour and teacher development. In these areas, she has led whole-school improvement through clear implementation processes underpinned by research evidence, ensuring strategies deliver meaningful impact.Lacey has worked widely across the Harlow Education Consortium and within trust schools, sharing good practice and supporting change as an improvement champion. She has a strong commitment to addressing educational disadvantage and has developed a teaching and learning community in her school that draws on the Educational Endowment Foundation’s toolkit to inspire staff and embed evidence-informed approaches.She is passionate about school improvement, the effectiveness of teaching and learning, and professional development. Lacey values collaboration as a driver of positive change and is delighted to be part of the ELE team, seeing it as an opportunity to grow her own practice while contributing to the success of others.
