Background
The best scientific evidence tells us that brains develop fastest from birth to two years old. The first five years are the most important years for future health and happiness in adulthood.
Often, it is the poorest children who miss out.
How can we make a difference in the early years?
LondonEY is London’s Research Conference for the Early Years. It’s organised by the East London Research School and supported by the Mayor of London.
In June 2022, we brought together some of the world’s leading researchers, with Londoners on the ground who are making a difference to children’s lives.
