Who is it aimed at?
Teachers who have recently become, or are interested in becoming, research leads. People interested in exploring research-informed school leadership.
What will be covered?
- The role of the research lead and why it is useful.
- How to find and evaluate educational research.
- How to implement research-informed ideas so that they have impact.
What will you know/be able to do by the end of the programme?
People on the course will be able to locate and make use of educational research, They will also understand potential limitations with research and how implementation can go wrong.
What will be the potential impact on teachers and pupils as a result of this training?
The impact of this training will be that a school will have a member of staff who is research-literate and able to support a senior leadership team with the implementation of CPD and policies.
