The Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) has launched a School Improvement Planning resources page to support teachers in establishing and acting on their priorities for the upcoming academic year. It features a brand new animation, designed to illustrate the key components of the tiered model, which highlights the importance of high-quality teaching, targeted academic support and wider strategies.

The new page signposts existing high quality resources, as well as a range of new tools relating to more specific potential areas for improvement, such as maximising learning, curriculum adaptation, assessment, transition, Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

These new resources include an implementation question tool to support school leaders in making adaptations to their curriculum, a transition tool providing prompts and questions for schools looking to support students through times of change, and a tool designed to help teachers utilise diagnostic assessment effectively.

It is our hope that both the new webpage and the accompanying resources will offer valuable evidence-informed support to teachers and school leaders as they look ahead to planning for the coming academic year.
