Maths-4-Life is a professional development programme that uses collaborative networks to improve students’ GCSE Mathematics resit results based around improving dialogic learning through 5 key lessons and 5 key pedagogies. It is a current evaluation project in progress by the EEF now recruiting.
This evidence-based programme has been co-developed by the Centre for Research in Mathematics Education at the University of Nottingham and twenty lead practitioners from Further Education Colleges around England. They are seeking teachers of GCSE Mathematics re-sits in colleges and schools in England to take part in a two-year randomised controlled trial of the programme.
Below are two documents which can give you further information about the programme.
It’s an exciting opportunity to be part of an evaluation trial and if you would like to take part, please get in touch with Professor Geoff Wake at Geoffrey.Wake@nottingham.ac.uk.
