Metacognition, or thinking about thinking,” is a powerful strategy that can significantly improve students’ learning outcomes. By teaching students to be aware of their cognitive processes, educators can help them develop critical self-regulation skills, enhance their understanding, and improve their academic performance. This session will explore the concept of metacognition, its benefits, and practical strategies for fostering metacognitive skills in the classroom.
