Director of the Derby Research School
Tammy Elward is Director of the Spencer Teaching School Hub and the Derby Research School at Wyndham Spencer Academy. She believes that evidence-engagement empowers practitioners and school leaders to be architects of their own school improvement journeys, allowing them to make the best decisions for their children and families. George Spencer and Wyndham’s own journeys are characterised as being outward-facing and engaged in evidence-based practice. Exploring what the research shows works best allowed them to make a difference for their pupils in their context.
