Amy Green is an Art and Graphic Design Teacher in Penzance, Cornwall. During her 12 years as a teacher, Amy has developed and led creative approaches to curriculum design at Mounts Bay Academy and beyond, including projects with High Tech High in San Diego, California. Amy has worked as a Specialist Leader of Education for over six years, and has shared her practice with schools spanning the county. She has a keen interest in reflecting evidence based research in her teaching practice, and has also exemplified this through writing blogs and taking part in podcasts, once with BBC Radio 4’s ​‘Teach Me A Lesson’. Amy’s greatest passion is that of exploring alternative, personalised and innovative pedagogy in education, and to challenge perceptions of what learning can look like. In her spare time Amy enjoys all things musical, playing netball, cinema trips, and food- of course.
