Cornwall Research School works across Cornwall and the Southwest with other research schools in the region, supported by the EEF. Our aim is to break the link between family income and educational achievement. We aim to do this by developing a culture of evidence-based practice in schools across the Southwest. By influencing what happens in classrooms through our professional development and engagement in the system, we support schools to put educational research into practice and improve learning experiences and prospects for all students.

Cornwall Research School’s Evidence Advocacy Network (EAN) brings together education professionals who are passionate about using research and evidence to improve teaching, learning and decision-making. The network supports Cornwall Research School, the wider Research School Network (RSN) and the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) in their shared mission to break the link between family income and educational achievement.
