Improving Secondary Science – Cognitive Acceleration through Science Education (CASE) – Free Twilight Taster session

Improving Secondary Science and CASE, this twilight will discuss the key features and impact

The CASE project has been active for over 30 years now and it has always been very popular both in the UK and beyond. CASE is comprised of some 30 Thinking Science lessons that were the result of a research project called Cognitive Acceleration through Science Education. CASE is unique in that the pupils who receive the lessons in Years 7 and 8 have been shown to get better than expected GCSE results in Year 11. This effect have been replicated in Australia and now across the world.

This Taster session will discuss the key features of the programme and the impact on the classroom.

A full programme will launch in the new academic year.
