The EEF released their latest guidance report this week: Improving Behaviour in Schools. As with previous guidance reports, it is a clear and concise summary of the main themes that evidence points us toward, and recommended reading for everyone in education. We read: Evidence-based School Leadership and Management – A Practical Guide by Gary Jones

The blurb for this book states that this is essential reading for senior and middle leaders in educational organisations and anyone who aspires to lead effective schools”, and we agree. It’s a comprehensive guide that can explores why we need evidence-based school leadership, how to gather and critique evidence, and how to implement effective evidence-based practice. It’s a book that you can dip into time and again, with lots of practical references to explore. Dr Jones’ website is full of useful advice for the school research lead:
