We have further expanded our brilliant team of ELEs at Aspirer Research School after our 3rd wave of applications this half term. We have appointed 3 new ELEs across Primary and Secondary and a range of different subjects: Hayley Wood, Sarah Cresswell and Rachael Wardle will add Early Years, Maths and Research Lead, Secondary English and SEND expertise to our team.
We also have 2 more interviews coming up in January. If you would like to apply, there is still time, please email Rachel Swann rswann@aet.cheshire.sch.uk for more information.
What does an ELE do?
The ELEs contribute to evidence-informed school improvement and are designated by the Aspirer Research School, to co-deliver evidence-informed training packages and bespoke support, for which training will be provided.
What do you need to be an ELE?
You need to be an outstanding teacher, a middle or senior leader, with the skills and passion to support individuals or teams in similar positions in other schools.
You will need to understand what outstanding leadership, in the use of evidence to inform school practice, looks like, sounds like and feels like. You should be skilled in helping other leaders to achieve it in their own context and committed to ensuring outstanding outcomes for all children, in particular those in disadvantage.
