Research School Network: Meet the Core Team

Margaret is the Director of Aspirer Research School and has held leadership roles in both primary and specialist settings. With over 33 years of teaching experience, she has educated children aged 3 to 19. Throughout her career, Margaret has taken on leadership responsibilities in areas such as behaviour, safeguarding and attendance, mental health, and SEND. She joined the Aspire Trust in 2019 and served as co-principal of a small primary school in Cheshire before becoming the director of the research school in 2021.

Margaret is the point of contact for metacognition, learning behaviours, cognitive science, and pupil premium.

Steve is the Assistant CEO of the Aspire Educational Trust and provides support and guidance to the team

Georgina co ordinates and supports the ELE team as well as teaches at Wilbraham Primary School

As admin support, Rachel does her best to help the Research School run smoothly.

As well as working for the Research School, I work within the Central MAT Team as Lead Administrator and Compliance Lead. This means arranging CPD and making sure everyone is up to date with policies. I also work within the HR Team writing contracts and letters and do my best with Census and Admissions queries.
